Nicodemus probably went to Jesus at night because he did not want others to see him. Nicodemus stated that they saw the signs that Jesus was doing, this would mean that there were unrecorded signs that Jesus did. Unless we are born again we cannot see, that is perceive, the Kingdom of God. Some people may think that being born again means reincarnation, however this is not so. We must be born again as Jesus commands. Being born again the means to having life in God's Kingdom. Being part of the Kingdom of God is not about location, ethnicity, economics, or education, it is about your relationship with the King. God's Holy Spirit, working in us, makes us born again. If we are born again, we will come out of the kingdom of darkness and go into the Kingdom of Light. A Kingdom is one where there is one ruler and one in authority. If we are not submitted to the Word of God, we are rebels and will not receive eternal life. We are not saved by what we do, but when God offers His salvation, we say yes! Being part of the Kingdom of God has everything to do with our relationship with the King.
