John the baptist did what he was called to do and that was point people to Jesus Christ. If we are obedient disciples, we too will point people to Jesus. God ordained the course of human history for our good and His glory. John the baptist prepared his disciples to follow Jesus. If we have questions about the gospel, ask the questions just be prepared to receive the answers. Jesus welcomes our questions and He wants us to know the truth for sure. Jesus says "Come and see" we can be certain. God never fails us. When Andrew became a follower of Jesus, the first thing Andrew did was to get his brother. If we want to reach people for Jesus, we must be able to translate while keeping the truth. The author of the Book of John, was writing to non-jews and he translated terms so that we can understand it. God knows everything about everyone of us and He cares for us and loves us.
