Did you ever want God to do something about the situation around you? And do you ever feel like God does not do what you have in mind? There is no pit deep enough that God's love is deeper still. God is not the Author of evil, but He is working and using even the evil people for His glory, even as the waters cover the sea. We may go though times when the fig tree does not bud, and there are no grapes on the vines, the fields produce no food, and there is no meat. In the midst of it all we are to rejoice in the Lord. What would you like your life to amount to? What is your goal or ambition? If it is to be like Jesus, you must take up your cross daily in the midst of hard and good times.
