Jesus has already won the victory. The disciples of Jesus spent more than 3 years with Jesus, and yet He said they still had much to learn. Jesus said it is better for believers to be in our current situation, with the Holy Spirit, than to have Jesus walking with us day to day as He did in the days of the disciples. Now that Jesus is with us, on the inside, our situation is better. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Jesus said He only does what the Father tells Him to do and speaks what the Father tells Him to say. Jesus always, only, ever, said and did what God the Father told Him to say and do, and Jesus is God. God is not a mystical force, He is personal, deity, and He comes to live in believers. If God lives in you, He promises that He will take care of you. The Scriptures proclaim that all things belong to Jesus and that His children are joint heirs with Jesus. Since that is true for His children, everything God created belongs to His believers. God knows and does what is best for His children. It is a lie to believe that if bad things happen it is because God does not love us. Do we rely on God?
