Many people in the world view Christianity as a cultural thing, not about what they believe. Being culturally Christian will not get us into Heaven, we must be born again. John Wycliffe translated the first translation of the English Bible. John Huss wanted people to know the truth that salvation is by grace through faith, he was burned in 1415. In 1517 Martin Luther nailed a copy of the 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church. Luther knew that we could never do enough to enter God’s Kingdom. 1522 he finished writing the New Testament, and in 1535 the Old Testament was written in German. Conversion is not through works. God’s word is true. William Tyndall in 1526 had the New Testament in English and in 1536 he was killed. In 1560, the Geneva Bible came out that had chapter and verse. In 1611 the King James Version came out. There is no lack of information about the scriptures in the United States today. There is no lack of Bibles in the US. No one will ever be good enough to work their way into Heaven. But when we trust in Jesus alone, we have eternal life.
